    curiously, what did you use to output this? really nice layers! I like the moving slats very much.

    As I mentioned in the description, its made with VDMX. vidvox.net/. Computer was connected directly to a DV deck. Everything was realtime - the only thing I did in post was crop out the letterbox and compress for h264.

    cool. yeah I got the VDMX part, just wondering ou were using to output. Sometimes I use snapzpro, but it outputting to a deck is much cleaner. Were you going firewire into the deck? I didn't realize that VDMX would output a firewire stream. Awesome project!

    I was using an Apple DVI to S-video adaptor, recording full screen output. Thanks!

    I'm using 4 layers, 4 movie clips,and 4 audio bands. Each layers has a crop filter on it. several step sequencers and many variation behaviors to modulate the motion. Audio bands are controlling the layer opacity (obviously :)
