    i'm presuming its a succession of photos each frame taken with 5 different exposures and then merged using photomatix to form an HDR photo... thereby allowing you to see both the night sky and the normally darker surroundings at the same time....

    no hdr here imho... this is stacking/stretching the same exposure (essentially layering 5 staggered frames per one frame then disgarding the last) 5x6sec is like a 30 sec exposure only 'smoother'

    Incredible. Love it. Would like to know more about how you made it... is it HDR or were you image "stacking" in the astrophotography sense?

    Absolutely great piece of work, but would love some more info on the process,... I am guessing that you are taking multiple exposures and placing them as separate layers in AE with varying degrees of opacity?????
