The last shot feels so good juxtaposed against the previous browns and greys.

Your use of the tilt-shift effect is mesmerizing and wonderful in the abstract. However, I felt the impact of the message you were attempting to convey was blunted, in my perception, by the inadvertant reduction of the emotional content to viewing a descent into the world of "Thomas, the Tank Engine". I found myself losing myself in the wondrous visuals and losing my edge of anger and frustration at the sheer waste spread before me. Still, the illusion of a field of toy pinwheels left me with a feeling of child-like enjoyment of the possibilties ahead of us.
