I was hired at O2 Films in march/2009 as a CG Generalist to work on this film, that is one of the official videos that represents the city of Rio de Janeiro to host the 2016 olympic games. I was primarily in charge of the Barra Cluster, that has tree main parts: Olympic Village, Media Center and Olympic Park.
It has no cuts, and is 2.284 frames long, so, the Tracking part was very hard, because, we start to see the whole Barra Cluster at the beggining of the video... But I've got a pretty good result, after a lot of work... :)
I did Tracking, Texturing, Lightning & Rendering, animated the cars, buses and used Vue to place and render the Trees. (Crowds was done in Massive by another person)
We had aproximately 2 months of production and I was lucky because after some time, I started to participate on meetings, and supervising the CG team (with Ricardo Bardal, Marcelo Souza and Victor Hugo) that had about 20 people.
