I got family in Montreal, so have been over several times now. Looks like I was over there when you did (some at least) of this, because of the street festival thing.

I stayed not far from the place where you got the city scape shots, great place to go to at night and see the lights! Got similar shots on my DSLR (morfed.net/gallery/d/1182-2/DSC00382.jpg) still very much learning though..

The top of the mountain is sure a cool spot. The street event was on crescent before the F1 race. Anyhow it's a good idea to visit your family in summer!

I wont to see touch down.

The opening shot was a bit problematic......i had to sit the tripod on top of a fence, it was windy so it was wobbling,so out the of the many shots i got this is the most stable.....but a big truck passed between the camera and the plane right at touchdown...thats why i cut it ...you can actually see the smoke off the tires when the wheels touch the landing strip.

Beautiful photography, very interesting angles, totally Montreal. Don't worry about the music, it is a little feverish, so is the pacing of your film. I like.

Tres Beau Pierre. Just one question: where were you exactly for scene at 1:30? I want to do some plane time lapse, and am looking for the best vantage point to shoot from.

    thx :)

The shot at 1:30 is a spot near dorval airport. It's the same spot as the opening shot. It's pretty intense as you get jumbo jets flying over your head just a few meters from you. I'll try and fix the location on google maps and post the link. Once you know were it is, its easy to find it, but it took me a few hours driving around the airport to find it.
Thanks for taking the time to watch.

that is really well done and put together. Sure makes me miss the view of the mountain from when i lived there in the 90s.

Wow I loved this. I love Montreal too. Was it shot during Francofolies? I was there then shooting with my HVX200.

I run a stock footage agency in NYC, and would love to rep your footage. My email is footagefile@gmail.com
