"But, the greatest of these..."
Give this one a chance. This video has a very special place with me. Please listen to the voice-over. I would love comments. A different kind of project for me, and a rather rushed film, but I am happy with it.
This one has a fun story to go along with it:
This was a last-ditch effort for final project for Prod. 1 and my third film attempt in a couple of weeks. My first shoot fell through when my lead actor decided to go MIA. Being that I couldn't find a replacement in time, I had to scrap the whole project due to time and location constraints.
Now, with my first project utterly lost, I had to fall back on a second, less time/location intensive project. But, of course, while test shooting for this second project, I crashed while tracking a stand-in w/ with camera and not it out of commission!
So, with time waning, and only two days until my deadline, I concocted my third, and "Final" project. This was actually shot during the waning hours of light on a very cold day, with a borrowed 1-chip camera. I had just finished DP'ing a 10-hour shoot for a classmate. Though I had hoped to catch the snow of the day, I was blessed to be able to capture, over the course of an hour or so, the waning light of dusk. Feeling cold, but incredibly inspired, I then went to a local coffee shop and scribbled out the V.O. monologue over the course of a few hours.
