The Uganda Sustainable Trauma Orthopaedic Program is a collaboration between the University of British Columbia and Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. The goal of the program is to reduce the consequences of neglected orthopaedic trauma through the strengthening of health systems and surgical training in Uganda. USTOP Stories highlights the lives of four patients visited during the November 2010 trip to Mulago Hospital in Kampala.
