Prev week
However, I have a major problem with the content.
It is curious how the violent and destructive car somehow has a life-giving power to regenerate the natural world. This mechanical nightmare beast leaps through the world and flowers bloom.
Perverse.
The concept of car depicted is the antithesis of life - it is the destroyer of anything close to delicate or subtle.
A brutal object, sexed up. Hey, the Ministry of War could do with an eye like yours.
Please be aware of the stories we are weaving. And what future - present we truly wish to inhabit.
I'm in 3D animation also, it's hard work to get to this level.
There has been interest expressed in the last week in making a movie based on Shapeshifter. Jeremy's point-of-view has given me food for thought and inspired my imagination for a possible storyline.
One more thing though....Leni Riefenstahl was pretty damned evil and fully aware of her mission.
I think of our work in ShapeShifter as more inspired by HR Giger than anyone else. Anyway, thanks everybody for your interest in what we created, intentionally or otherwise. AW
I think great art can be purely visual without any "message/story", but when we are presented with beautiful visual art with some strange/dysfunctional logic behind it, it's only right to question it.
My least favourite thing about it is the car's involvement as this obviously detracts from this. Although, a car manufacturer may argue otherwise.
Beautiful CG nonetheless, well done.
On the other hand it might just be a dream or a meaningless vision of the artist :D
Great CG!
The two autos made me wonder if this was a car commercial.
