I created this time-lapse using my Canon EOS 40D, along with my Sigma 10-20mm ultra-wide angle lens. I shot this time-lapse from the observation desk, which gave me a great vantage point of the lake. I arrived at the desk at 6:15AM (pitch black), I start shooting at 6:45am, and continued to shoot until 9:20AM. In that time frame I captured 2,873 sRAW files (15.5GB), which I shoot in brackets of (-2,0,+2), then I converted the batch into HDR (which took 6 hours). I converted the files into HDR (High Dynamic Range), so I could have sharp details in the highlights, midtones, and shadows. Over the past 18 months I have became really comfortable with my HDR skills, and I’m ready to take it to the next level. This is absolutely my best professional work yet. Please enjoy the scenery and leave a comment about your thoughts. Thanks
PS: Take note of the huge flock of birds sitting on the boats, then simultaneously fly away. I got really lucky to catch that.
