Color note _ A Visual Sound Installation


"Color note" makes sound improvisatory with simple interaction between human and sound and the collaboration between sound and color shows the human movement directly in real time. "Color note" matches the wavelength of sound and the RGB of color.

The screen looks like a graph since the width shows the speed of rhythm, and the length shows the notes and colors. It is similr to the traditional musical notes, however, there are pixels of cubes to visualize the sound instead of music paper.

The musical scale represents in length part consists of from lower do to higher do in octave 5, all of 8 notes. Each note is arrayed in "do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-si-do" order and "red to red" order.
