Winter... I came from British Columbia for this race. I battle through a lot of adversity to race because of pain throughout my entire body (you gave me a thumbs up and "way to go" when you saw me staggering along on the run). I am preparing to swim/bike/run around the western world to raise money for various children's charities. Some of the funds I am raising will be for cancer research as I have lost many friends and family from the disease... I was truly humbled and inspired from everything surrounding you competing in the Athletes for a Cure triathlon, and your reasons behind it...your daddy. You are amazing, and I will hold you in my heart during my International Triathlon for Kids.

Thank you so kindly for showing me a deeper sense of true strength.
