Huntington's Chorea is a fatal genetic disease that affects the movement centers of the afflicted brain and causes spontaneous, involuntary dance-like movement. Marisa Yudkin discovered she had the gene when she was 29, and spent the rest of her life stubbornly celebrating the time she had left. In honor of and in collaboration with Marisa, Lani Nahele and Catherine Musinsky choreographed and performed this piece. Projected video, animation and the composite video which you see here edited by Catherine Musinsky. Performed 2004; edited 2005. Marisa died in 2009.
