This is a quick video I did showing a new way to possibly handle notifications in iOS (specifically on the iPhone). It removes the previously obtrusive alert window for something more subtle, taking advantage of their higher resolution display to show notifications that do not need to take up the whole screen. Also, a new notification icon added to the taskbar allows a way to quickly review notifications, as well as respond to them in an Exposé like fashion.
