This video combines a learn-to-skate class for kids, "Streetwise 2008", with 'Converge 2008', a skate comp, held at various skate parks around the Sunshine Coast. Ignore the mistake in the opening credits. Should read 2008 not 2007. Duh!

I guess it's more of a promo video rather than a mini doco.

Most of the video was shot using a canon hv20. We used the famous Nikon R10 cine camera to shoot the exhibition end with Nano Lab's Ektachrome 160 push series super 8mm film stock. This particular film is very grainy as you will see but that's the look we wanted.

To satisfy many people's curiosity, the end song is AC/DC's "Riff Raff". Go Oz Rock!!!
