Christmas Institute is an ethnically relevant UMC-based camp designed to nurture our youth and young adults.

Mission Statement
CI-PNW is open to ALL who are seeking Jesus Christ, spiritual guidance, acceptance, and fellowship. Our target population includes youth and young adults of immigrant Filipino and Filipino American/Canadian families within the United Methodist Church—to strengthen and support our youth as they become leaders.

[Jesus said,] "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink..."
—John 7:37b (NIV)

Our Vision
To know Jesus Christ, and make Him known...
First and foremost, this is a camp designed to strengthen our spiritual faith and to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

To fellowship with other believers...
Connecting with our brothers and sisters in Christ enables us to share our experiences. We love because God first loved us, and the way we relate to one another is a demonstration of our love for Christ.

To mature in our faith...
Our spiritual journey doesn't automatically get easier over time; in fact, the challenges we face only increase as we get older. No matter what, we each have the opportunity to learn from our experiences, use these lessons to better mold our decisions, and model our faith to fellow believers and non-believers alike.

To link our cultural identities with faith in action...
Whether you are full Filipino, part Filipino, or not Filipino at all... Whether you were born in the Philippines, Guam, stateside, or anywhere else... Whether you can speak Tagalog, Ilocano, Kapampangan, or English-only... We can all celebrate our cultural backgrounds through similarity and diversity, establishing a connection that empowers us to act in faith, together.
