Kimmie Weeks, Founder and Executive Director of Youth Action International, visited The Eleos Foundation. Mr. Weeks is a well know advocate, seeking to empower young people in the developing world. Youth Action International helps rebuild countries damaged by war by providing opportunities to young people.

The memories of civil war in Liberia prompted Mr. Weeks to create The Children Disarmament Campaign, which sought to remove guns from the hands of children. His work lead him into direct conflict with the Liberian government of Charles Taylor. Mr. Weeks discusses this experience and his eventual flight from Liberia.
