WE LOVE BALI

During our group videosafari's we visited Beautiful Bali Indonesia many times between 1986 and 1998. But every time we notice, it gets more spoiled by us tourists. But the Balinese with their rituals and their costumes and music are still amazing inspirational for me as videographer. Thousands watch the amazing sunsets at Legian Beach eating mais and peanuts.
Enjoy the famous Exotic Monkey Man Dance and low throat sounds: Cecak Dance at Uluwatu Temple Bali
and the very rare: Cekepung Dance: 'Dusan Tanah Lengis' Eka Adnyana Suara Penata Bali and Cecak Dance and Dancers.
Near Mount Agung in Tanah Lengis, which closely linked to Ababi, is a so-called Cekepung group. It is a rare form of music known only in Karangasem and on Lombok, from where it originates. It is performed by a group of men. The leader begins by singing a text in Sasak (the language of Lombok); this is then paraphrased by another man in Balinese. After a while the other men join in and perform a very rhythmic, interlocking song without words - imitating the interplay, rhythm and punctuation of a gamelan orchestra with their voices. (If you like it I can edit more of this!)

nice video Jan!
On the lighter note, the Kecak dance is indeed very famous in Bali. Do you know the story behind it? I don't. Time to go to Wiki to find out.
Very nice sunset colors. "Jagung bakar " (BBQ corn) looks so delicious! Did you take them with a 3CCD DV cam?

We all need our inspiration's in our life to move on.
We will not know what hit us with inspiration to inspire, but spirit knows exactly what it is.
We all can sense something is right, much as something signal us wrong.
Wonderful and thank you very much.
I guess, I really have to go to Bali in this life.
