The field recordings were made on two separate trips to Mongolia in the summer of 1998 and the winter of 1999. My purpose for the trips was to train teachers in early childhood education under contract from Children's Resources International. The summer (pinic) footage was shot at a camp north of Ulaanbaatar.The winter footage (children) was shot in a small town near the Gobi desert.
