MacKenzie Beach is located between Long Beach and Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada. This video was shot on September 29, 2008, and shows what a sublime place the Long Beach area can be. My Jack Russell Terrier "Tucker" appears in the first part of the video, and some beach walkers and skimboarders are featured in the last half of the video. Everyone was enjoying the sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

This video was shot with a Canon HV-20 and was handheld (as the non-level horizons will tell you!). Sony Vegas Pro was used to compose the video, and the pans and zooms were smoothed out using the proDAD Mercalli plug-in. The score is a Cinescore composition (From Matadi to Boma).
