The second talk on Tango Conference 2008 was about MiniD by Jarrett Billingsley. It covered his project, which happens to be a very promising scripting language.

Jarrett's own wording:
"MiniD is what happens when D and Lua get together and drink too much. It's a small but powerful scripting language targeted for use with the D programming language. And without Tango, the new implementation probably wouldn't be possible "
