In August, artist Bob Wysocki shaped 100,000lbs of sand into a dune inside Flight 19, an alternative contemporary art exhibition space in Tampa, Florida. The installation, titled Post-Metal, coincided with the University of South Florida Contemporary Art exhibition Mash-Up, devoted to art influenced by popular music and destruction as a creative force.
