In 1858 Queen Victoria by royal decree gave permission for a cathedral to be built in Nelson and as a result it became a city even though it only had a population of 5000 people. In the original celebration 150 yrs ago I don’t think Queen Vic helped carry the cake up Trafalgar Street. Videoed on a Canon HF10 and edited on Ulead 11.5, it is a selection of video clips overlaid onto a video of the band playing, I trimmed the clips to length off to the side of the main video and then slid them along the overlay track to position them, this way it didn’t have to generate the overlay at the same time as they were trimmed to length, and took less effort on the part of the computer. I did some shots above the peoples heads by holding the tripod at arms length and resting the camera on the side of a tree over 8ft up,
