Jewish Museum Vienna chief curator Felicitas Heimann-Jelinek presents a Torah shield and a pair of Torah finials dating from 1826, and narrates the story of their donors, the noble Lämel family, a tale connected closely with the history of Vienna's Central City temple on the Seitenstettengasse.
