This video shows teaching a child to match 3D objects to a 2D picture with labeling. The interventionist waits for eye contact prior to giving an instruction and before delivering a tangible reinforcer. At first the interventionist physically guides the child to make the correct response. She is then able to fade to a gestural prompt of just pointing to the correct picture. As the child progresses the interventionist further fades her prompts and gives the child a chance to respond independently.
