The second try at filming my slushy skate into work. Total trip is 14 minutes. Here's a few minutes of highlights.
The sound in the beginning is the wheels running over ice patches covered over by slush. Very slippery.
By the time I lose the board out from under me most of the cool grip tape checkerboard has come off leaving only slippery wet polyurethaned wood.
My shoes are waxed canvas Toms "Botas" lined with wool quilting. They are remarkably water resistant, comfortable, and warm. I highly recommend them. I own three pairs just in case they stop making them.
