This is the final film being premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and on Vimeo simultaneously. Prev week
There was TONS of chapters that has nothing to do with nothing. The chapter chosen were the best to make the story flow.
Congrats to Canon, Vincent, Vimeo and every body around this project.
An amazing compilation and endeavor. Turned out so great!
That low, side shot by vincent's hosp bed was gorgeous- the light glowing through the window--:)) 18ks it appears from bts photos...
Did winners have any part in the editing process too?
Editing and sound design was stellar as well.
Congrats everyone involved in this final chapter- what a ride this contest has been!
Vincent and winners -- congratulations on your groundbreaking accomplishment!
Although I do feel the export settings could have been adjusted differently in order to produced a higher quality output but i sure would not want to wait for a 38min long video to render out at max quality or at least for the purpose.
Overall, this was a very inspiring video for myself. Keep up the great work!
Kudos kids... Kudos!
Amazing pice of filming :>
keep it up!
The change of events in chapter 5 also is very good. But then, i dont like the way it continues in the next chapters...
love that guy....
why he isnt in more main stream films is beyond me...his acting was the best in the series...
along with Vince in Chapter 8
pros obviously were involved in making chapter
1 and 8... bravo to all teams and all efforts!
enjoyed the series and sad its over...
;-)
I hope this style of film making gets the recognition it deserves.
I guess the idea as a whole was never going to really work.
Riveting viewing. Loved it!
What Camera?
Did find just one fault, it is --> 17.30-17.32 Alisson holds bear in the hand
17.32-17.35 Alisson have nothing in the hand
17.35-17.36 Alisson holds a bear in the hand again :p
Ha sido apasionante poder ver cómo se une la gente de Internet para lograr un buen fin.
Gracias por compartir.

Congratulations for the job.
It was exciting to see how the Internet connects people to achieve a good end.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks to you all ;)
But...
I did find it hard to follow. The combination of storyline abstractions and the fractured cast makes it a cognitive challenge. I now find myself questioning the validity of my emotions. Was there ever really a father/daughter relationship, or was it all the fantasy of a madman? Should I identify with the central character, or just ogle at his unfortunate state?
Perhaps a second viewing will clear up some of the doubt...
Only thing that bugged me was the continuity issue with Allison running with the bear at 17:32. It disappears in the wide shot and comes back in the close up as she gets in the car.
I wouldn't quite say "ugh" as someone above did, only because of the high production value. I just can't bring myself to lather praise on it either...if I were to use just one word it would be: "huh?"
