We want people to remember to recycle their waste. And we need your help to do it.

The Scottish Government is working on a campaign in partnership with Zero Waste Scotland to increase the amount of waste recycled in Scotland. Its a big task but we think its achievable.

Our aim is to have 40% of waste to be recycled or composted by the end of 2010. Most people know why they should recycle. And recycling rates for municipal waste have increased dramatically over the past 10 years from 5% to 35%. But people forget exactly what they can recycle and where they can recycle. Our campaign will point people to the information they need and, ultimately, encourage them to recycle more.
