Those who believed that the Mediterranean warmth would come with the Spanish stop of the Stairset Battle tour in Vallnord (Andorra) were wrong. But even with temperatures reaching -18°C, the 7th stop of the Stairset Battle tour managed to attract 37 of the region's best jib riders, and one of the biggest crowd turnouts of the entire tour with over 700 spectators.
As the night came over the stairset, the lights were on all the rippers blending difficult tech tricks with a high emphasis on style. But in the end, only Juan Polanco aka "Polan" from Madrid earned the ticket to the Great Final in Munich with tricks like a Cab 360 a 50-50 or a Backside Lip.
He'll be competing with the other stops' finalists at the Air & Style in Munich on February 12th.
