Very nice job. It's a simple twist short short, but all the elements are great. The argument flows realistically without giving away any particulars as to what it might be about, which I found to be a good choice. Great cinematography too. Simple, yet very nice camera movements, wonderful lighting. Look forward to seeing something more ambitious in the future.

thanks so much for the kind words, and for checking out the film of course. this was really a labor of love. we shot it in one day and only had enough money to feed our amazing crew which all donated their time. The locations, props, and everything else was borrowed or donated. I created it hopes of using it as a showcase piece to do exactly what you suggested, created something more ambitious.

Ah, really liked this. You're not entirely sure what's going on until the cookies hit the table, and then everything is nicely revealed after that. I like how you're a bit suspenseful regarding the motives of those listening in, but by the last shot when he smiles you really appreciate what it is he does, however unrealistic.

Loved everything about it. You had a total cohesive story with a twist. Length was great. It looked amazing, sound was excellent, screen direction, camera movement, lighting, editing, music all perfect.

thank you. because we didn't have a pro sound recordists, we just had a shotgun mic running into the camera. It came out surprisingly well, except for a few lines which we picked up in ADR

Really great, clever and quirky. As soon as I saw the fortune cookies, I knew what was coming. Everything before that was set up nicely, a good build up and it created more curiosity above anything else. As an aspiring filmmaker, this is definitely inspiring.
