have to agree with steve, in germany we also pronounce crossaint the french way... at least in the areas where there are no big local accents. but for some reason i just figured when i speak english, i would use a mix of french and american pronounciation! ha :)

As a french person, I agree with you a 100 % :D I wear Leh-veess jeans and drink Coh-Kah, and if I pronounced Levis and Coke the right way, people here would just laugh hysterically at me :D
