This is a lecture about Reggae in Africa.
The lecturer is Alfred Snider, professor at the University of Vermont. He teaches the class "Rhetoric of Reggae Music" every few semesters.
This video is old, grainy and strange. It was translated from a RealPlayer file and there was some damage, but the sound track is good and the visuals are acceptable. This was done in 2000 when a version of the class was offered online, thus it might be a bit dated.
