PROJECT FINANCED BY THE ESPA 2007-2013

The present project involves the planning/realization/filming of 16 modern choreographies of short duration with the participation of individuals with disabilities and without disabilities. This choreographies series aims at contributing to the viewers’ familiarization with disabilities. Through dancing, a common and easily understood language for many people, differences and similarities, which might separate or unite people with and without disabilities, are depicted and therefore more easily understood. The cooperation of individuals with disabilities and without disabilities shows that coexistence and common expression are possible since we are all receivers of similar stimuli, emotions and situations.
