China's outspoken human rights attorney Gao Zhisheng and his family are being unlawfully detained and subjected to torture by the Chinese communist regime. This is what an inside source—who wished to remain anonymous for their safety—told our media partner, The Epoch Times.

Many Chinese call lawyer Gao Zhisheng "China's Conscience." He's the author of "A China More Just." In 2005, he published an open letter to top officials, providing evidence of the Communist Party's suppression of human rights. Gao and his family had been harassed by authorities ever since.
