When a man or woman volunteers to be strapped into a phone booth sized compartment that sits atop several hundred thousand tons of metal and is then shot upwards into space with the force of a small nuclear explosion, they are said to have the "Right Stuff". Such men and woman are trained to the nth degree in how their machines operate, and they are fully aware of just how badly things can go wrong too. "The 22" is a very brief film that presents the faces and names of 22 such men and women.
The piece of music for this film is called "Dreaming". It was composed by Robert Schumann and is taken from a live concert recording of the Burbank Chorale (burbankchorale.org)
Please enjoy this film and remember that great endeavors are never paid for at a cheap price.
