In honor of February being "the month of love," Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia will celebrate with a five day chocolate festival from Thursday, February 10th through Monday, February 14th.
To celebrate everyone's favorite sweet treat, the Swann Lounge is unveiling the "Aztec Chocolate Diamond Martini," a rich and satisfying chocolate martini with a hint of chili pepper liqueur. Blending Diamond Vodka (a premium vodka filtered through DeBeers diamonds), Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, Thatcher's Organic Très Chiles Liqueur and Thatcher's Organic Chocolate Liqueur, the Aztec Chocolate Diamond Martini is a drink whose rich chocolate depth is buoyed in the finish with a touch of lingering heat from the chili pepper liqueur. The martini will be garnished with a truffle from Éclat Chocolate. Taking inspiration from the original Aztec robust and savory chocolate concoctions, our Aztec Chocolate Diamond Martini marries the past to the present, as well as the present to the future!
The Aztec Chocolate Diamond Martini can be ordered as a standard cocktail from the Swann Lounge bar menu. As a special promotion for the month of February only, guests can arrange to order the Ultimate Aztec Chocolate Diamond Martini -- our chocolate martini with jewelry featuring genuine chocolate diamonds from David Jay Jewelers in Warrington, PA and served in a designer keepsake martini glass. The Ultimate Aztec Chocolate Diamond Martini is available at price points of $500.00, $1500.00 and $7500.00. This special drink must be pre-ordered at least 72 hours in advance to guarantee supply of the chosen diamond jewelry.
Guests wishing to create a personal (and delicious) gift for their sweetheart can join us on Saturday, February 5th at 10 am and 12 pm for a special chocolate truffle class with Executive Chef Rafael Gonzalez and Christopher Curtin, Master Chocolatier of Éclat Chocolate. Participants will learn the art of hand rolling truffles and will be able to create a personalized 12 piece gift box for that someone special in their lives. The cost is $75.00 per person to register, and space is limited in each class. Beginning on Thursday, guests will notice a chocolate influence throughout all areas of the hotel, restaurants and spa. Upon checking in to the hotel, guests will be offered a variety of chocolate covered treats, as well as freshly made hot chocolate in the lobby in the evenings. The Spa will offer a coco-vanilla enhancement oil, which can be added to any massage or body treatment. Guests dining in the Fountain Restaurant, Swann Café or Swann Lounge will enjoy chocolate infused throughout the different menus. And for four nights only (Friday through Monday), the Swann Lounge will be bringing back their infamous Viennese Dessert Buffet
