La Curación (The Healing) is a new documentary film by the Quito Film Collective, an international collaboration between media, history, and health scholars and students, musicians, and healers in Ecuador. This experiment in ethnography explores concepts of health and healing in the urban, coastal, and rural communities in the Andes. Produced at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and The School of the Art Institute in Chicago.
