A Quick Trip on the Appalachian Trail (AT)
On April 21, 2010, after more than twenty years of dreaming, reading, planning, hoping, delaying, and anticipating, I started hiking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.
I took a unique approach and spent time enjoying towns, meeting people, and exploring the Appalachian roadways and communities beyond the wilderness path. I spent several weeks off trail along the way with friends and relatives. I had the adventure of a lifetime! Read more at oldschoolontheat.blogspot.com.
Every hour on the hour while I was on the AT, I took 3 pictures. Then, I meshed them together into a video flipbook. This is a photomotion video of my journey with some scenic interludes. I hope it inspires you to live your dream too.
