Lincoln City Kite Festival, 10/11/2008

The synchronized kite flyers are a group called iQuad. I wasn't paying close enough attention or I would have tried to get more of them.

    00:39, great use of a fisheye effect, or was that a very wide angle lens? Either way, it highlights the kites as an interesting subject, they look like they are swimming in the sky.

    Yes, iQuad has specific flight routes, or as it''s called 'Routines/Formations". John Barresi that posted a comment on this video, is the founder and team leader of iQuad.

    BTW - very cool video! I like the way you did the time elapsed format.
