The “Allegoria” (allegory) is an image, a text in which the meaning immediately readable obscures another more important and profound,
which is the true value of the image or the text itself. Just as music is the art and science of sound over time, in the performance “Allegoria” the man’s
body becomes the sound object generating music.”Allegoria” is presented as a classical music concert performed by a string quartet that plays a song
by Johann Sebastian Bach. The concert begins.
In the midst of the representation interference are revealed, unexpected sounds and noises which initially we are unable to distinguish the source.
Slowly, these alternative sounds are mixed with the music and the audience gradually begins to sense their nature origin.
Revealing gradually are the imperceptible sounds that the body of the musicians / performers inevitably generates during the concert, those sounds
generally regarded as noise, as the creaking of the chair that supports the performers, the cellist arm rubbing while playing,
or the sound generated by the turning pages of the scores, up to the breathing and heartbeats of the musicians during the performance.
Amalgamating with the sounds of strings, the musical composition evolves ending with the complete revelation of the music of the bodies.
The allegorical image of the concert aims to stimulate the viewer’s attention to these “concerts” in which every day we unconsciously we assist, that
represent the essence as much misunderstood as vital, of the reality that surrounds us.

L’allegoria, è un immagine, un testo, nel quale il significato immediatamente leggibile ne nasconde un altro più importante e profondo, che costituisce il valore vero dell’immagine, del testo stesso.
Così come la musica è l’arte e la scienza dei suoni nel tempo, nella performance “Allegoria” il corpo dell’uomo diviene oggetto sonoro generando così
musica. “Allegoria” si presenta come un concerto di musica classica eseguita da un quartetto d’archi che interpreta un brano di Johann Sebastian Bach.
Il concerto comincia.
Nel pieno della rappresentazione si rivelano interferenze, sonorità impreviste e rumori di cui inizialmente non si riesce a distinguere l’origine.
Lentamente poi queste sonorità alternative si amalgamano con la musica e lo spettatore inizia a intuirne gradualmente la natura.
A rivelarsi sono le sonorità impercettibili che il corpo dei musicisti/performers genera inevitabilmente durante il concerto,quei suoni considerati genericamente rumore, come lo scricchiolio della sedia che sorregge gli esecutori, lo sfregare del braccio del violoncellista o il suono generato dal voltare le pagine degli spartiti, fino al respiro
e al battito cardiaco dei musicisti durante la rappresentazione. Inoltre ad ogni musicista sono collegati diversi elettrodi che, ricevendo singolarmente una quantità di impulsi e di potenziale elettrico specifici ed unici, rivelano gli impulsi generati dai corpi creando così diversi tappeti sonori, che andranno ad amalgamarsi formando un’unico strato musicale, dovuto esclusivamente dalla presenza fisica dei corpi.
Amalgamandosi con i suoni degli archi, la composizione musicale si evolve terminando con la totale rivelazione della musica dei corpi.
L’immagine allegorica del concerto intende stimolare l’attenzione dello spettatore verso quei “concerti” a cui ogni giorno assistiamo inconsapevolmente,
e che rappresentano l’essenza tanto misconosciuta quanto vitale della realtà che ci circonda.
