In the month of December and January, 30 men joined Doug Phillips for a "hazardous journey" into the heart of the Amazon. During their adventure they addressed the problem of Christianity vs. the radical environmentalist movement, the responsibility of man to exercise thoughtful stewardship in his dominion responsibilities over creation, and much more. Most significantly, they confronted one of the defining issues of the ages---the temptation of man to worship and serve the creation, rather than the Creator.
Along the way, the focused on the importance of father and son relationships, multi-generational thinking, and the cause of bold manhood in the 21st century. Their hazardous journey brought them face to face with vampire bats, pirahnas, highly inhospitable environments and much more. It also served as a time for important friendships and strategic relationships to be forged. This brief video tells the story in their own words.
