Nature and Water Energy [Australia]
This is just a collection of images with a very quick 'loose' edit to show some of the water birds of Australia. I am aware that a couple of the shots are a bit 'staggered' and there are a few focus issues. I just thought you all may like to see some of our nature spots here around Canberra Australia. I think I have two or three really good shots in all these, some average and some below par.....but it was a great exercise.
Advice to all....wear a hat in the sun, take PLENTY of water and sunscreen.....and a machine gun for the mosquitoes!! DON'T carry an old wooden legs Miller tripod on your back for 5 kilometers in street shoes.... Also DON'T attempt to film pissed off bees.....
The music is by Tribe World Ensemble and features: Arthur Kills Straight Putnam [Earthsongs] on Native American Cedarwood Flute. Rebbecca Lloyd on silver flute, Bill Hall on guitars and bass, Sweet Affair [string section] and David Pendragon on keyboards and atmospheres. The didgeridoo is Warren 'Didg' Gunther.
I recorded all the music at 'The Studio' [Canberra]
The nature sound you hear with the black swan is 'off camera' and is the sound of the environment itself.

The amazing thing about pelicans......sometimes you see them right smack bang in the middle of the outback among other water birds at a water hole that just seem so out of place in the desert!
Love the emu too and the black swan is beautiful!
