A short view of the annual Onigie Festival held here in Yanagawa, Japan. Most of the celebrations are focused around different town groups from the city giving thanks to the gods for a safe and bountiful harvest. That and to scare off evil spirits for another year by making a lot of noise and scaring the be-jesus out of kids and girls alike!
