I returned to Bend over winter break and meet up with Kirt Voreis and Austin Aldrich to do a little filming. We headed out to Cline Butte on January 12th about mid-afternoon and almost as soon as we were ready to film Austin drove over his bike and taco'd his front wheel. He had to drive home and get another rim which set us back about an hour. When he returned he realized he grabbed the wrong rim for the tube so he had to use an old tube in the van. While we were getting the shots on the way up the hill, Austin realized that his tire was leaking and that he needed to go get the pump in the van at the bottom. After he got the pump we kept driving up the hill only to realize that his Tacoma couldn't make it up through the snow and, after only 10 attempts on each incline, we had finally made it to the top. By then it was already getting dark so we proceded to get as many shots as quickly as we could but only 4 shots later Kirt got a flat. He drove back down to the bottom to get the tube Austin had not been able to use earlier and then hiked up to meet us. We finished the day filming in complete darkness but were fortunate enough to get all the shots we wanted before my battery died. Once we got back into town, A-Rev and Kirt spent the rest of the night shreddin the newly remodeled garage.
