TITLE: The American Dream
FILM FESTIVAL THEME: "Speechless"
CAMERA: Canon 60d
NOTES: The American Dream has been ruined by the society in which we live in. Something that used to be such a great achievement in society (graduate high school, go to college, get a job and then possibly start a family) has now almost become just as routine and boring as waking up in the morning. Furthermore it belittles the amount of opportunities/ or direction that you posses in your life. The film shows how sometimes The American Dream isn't what its typically cracked up to be, and how it can basically dictate your life. This was inspired by a question on my cross cultural communications test asking "what is The American Dream".
Special thanks to my critical approach to film professor, Jefferey Middents for helping me with the film and understanding film in general. Also Sarah Mason, the wonderful actress.
