I went through a period at the beginning of the year where I did a fair amount of traveling. I've always been fascinated with Airports, though less and less as they have become a source of great stress. As I was in various airports I had my little Sony Cybershot camera with me and for some reason I switched it over to the video mode and took long takes of things trying to get some sense of isolation. As I brought the footage back I wanted to do something with it, but decided against throwing a ton of graphics in the shot and editing the hell out of it. As I watched the footage I wanted to create a very calm, long, slow paced, non Internet/MTV/Whateverfast cut piece. I doubt this will hold many people's attention, but I'm proud of it and I do love the end. Keep in mind I had no tripod and it was shot on a pocket sized digital camera, so excuse some of the footage quality. Music is "Theme for Gabor" by Gabor Szabo.
