General Conference President, Pastor Ted Wilson has concluded his 14 day trip, with wife Nancy, to the South Pacific.
"This has been a most memorable adventure," he told 10,000 people who travelled from across Fiji to hear him speak at the TGL stadium. "Should the Lord delay his return, I shall return to the South Pacific in 2014."
The audience applauded enthusiastically when he added, "In the meanwhile, I will take back a good report about Fiji and the South Pacific to the General Conference."
Earlier, Pastor Wilson visited the current site of Fulton College. Students sang "Feelin' Mighty Fine". The lyrics and tune immediately captured the attention of the General Conference President. Dr Wilson replied, "It is my prayer that one day soon, Heaven will no longer be only on our mind - We will be there!"
There are more than 410,000 Seventh-day Adventists living in the South Pacific in 18 countries.
