Open Source speaks to our age of digitized information. As databases become more and more sophisticated, allowing us to greater and faster access to information from remote locations, Open Source recollects a not too distant past when information was stored in physical libraries and indexed in card catalogue cabinets. As the digital revolution captures and stores more and more information, these cabinets are disappearing, as they are no longer used as the gateway to our libraries.
