By traveling to the rural communities of Isan and experiencing Songkran through the eyes of the Thai people, we intend to capture this dramatic event in a short film.
Songkran is the Buddhist New Year festival that takes place from 13th-15th April every year across Thailand. Songkran is the process of cleansing and purification. The festival culminates in the largest water-fight on the planet.
