looks really jerky, lacks animation and has a slow response to commands. I wish I was impressed

Nice work for an alpha 1 version, but runs really slow and the extension manager doesn't work, the caret on the urlbar is always invisible.

It looks really nice. It just has to be ported to Google Android. (which is open sourced now)

David - I agree regarding "instant" visual feedback is a must, and is something we're working on. By UI elements, do you mean items in page content (like links or input fields) or buttons, etc., in chrome? Both have to respond, but I think it's less done for content at the moment.

We're also working on the stickiness of the side bars -- there's much tweaking to come.

Other comments about jerkiness, speed, and so on -- it's definitely because it's an alpha!

  • Very nice! Everyone keep in mind this is the ALPHA stage. Give it some time, and this will certainly be rockin in the close future.

Been taking fennec for a spin and it looks good. Extension functionality is a plus but it's not letting me enter anything in password fields. anywhere. Therefore I cannot login to anything. Is this a bug?
