This is a fun little slow motion test that we shot in the Brown Bread Studio of Mark Baines doing a Switch Heel Manny.
We shot it using a MotionPro X3 (at 600fps) and then used Twixtor to speed up and slow down the action.
We thought we would make the test a bit more exciting than just a shot of a empty warehouse, so we made some barber style poles and a manny pad designed by Workshop (thisisworkshop.co.uk) and added some smoke. We shot it with a 28mm F/2 Carl Zeiss Distagon from a scaffold tower that we had constructed in the warehouse. We were testing to see how well the MotionPro X3 does with just 4 2K redheads (which at 50Hz were going to flicker) and how framing with the 28mm worked from this set distance with the MotionPro's high crop factor.
